Who we are
We are the Bionic Bombers, a rookie team from the small town of Williamsfield, Illinois. This year we are on a mission to launch our robot into deep space! The students here at Williamsfield have put a lot of hard work into this FIRST Robotics Competition that'll BLOW YOU AWAY. The Bionic Bombers consist of a building/mechanical team, electrical/programming team, and a marketing team. We have seven girls and ten boys, which is outstanding considering the lack of female involvement in the STEM field. The Bionic Bombers are 40% female! On top of that, six of our 17 members are freshmen! With less than 80 students in our high school, our 17 members are involved in a meteoric amount of activities. Our team members and four mentors are working full-blast on this mission to show the world a mall school can do ore than their numbers convey.
